JUMPING  THE  SHARKNADO : WILL  GEOSTORM
RAIN   CHEESE  ON  THE   2018  OSCARS ?

"Something to really look forward to. It will come out in October. Maybe we can dedicate a session ad CEC17 to it!

Disaster Thriller Geostorm

Will Have the Most Terrifying

 Climate Change Ever

From  Gizmodo: " Forget the car-sized hail.  It  looks  like it  might actually  start raining cheese  in the climate-controlled near-future of Geostorm.
Set during a time when a network of satellites help stave off extinction-level natural disasters, Geostorm shows what happens when that technology malfunctions.
It’s going to be a disaster flick centered on mankind enduring the worst weather ever, all because we were foolish enough to think we could play Thor.
Geostorm will star Gerard Butler and Ed Harris and is directed by Dean Devlin, the writer/producer behind Independence Day. It’s due out in October.
We're Doomed."
APPARENTLY,  SO IS THE MOVIE:
Geostorm  is a remake of

DAS ARCHE NOAH PRINZIP  (THE NOAH'S ARK PRINCIPLE)

which began life as  master of disaster  Roland Emmerich's  Doctoral Thesis. After watching Star Wars, the  University of Television and Film Munich student debuted his  final thesis at the 34th Berlin International Film Festival in 1984.
Re-released on DVD in 2002, it won 2 1/2  Rotten Tomatoes.
